DHS Golf Four-Skins Tour 2006

Friday, July 28, 2006

Getting lessons from a friend probably isn't a great idea (unless they're a registered pro), and there are two reasons for that: firstly, golf is an extremely difficult game to teach well; secondly, most golfers are so incredibly bad that all they're likely to teach you are their own faults.

Taken from the article 'GOLF FOR 39.37 pounds' by Toby Keel (Today's Golfer Staff Writer Handicap 3), in September 2006's issue of Today's Golfer, available in all news stands near you.

Today's Golfer Statsitics: How far do you hit a 7-iron?

Less than 135 yards (123 metres) = 25%
136 to 150 yards (124.3 to 137.2 m) = 44%
150+yards (137.2+m) = 31%

(Statistics collected from readers of Today's Golfer magazine and website.)
